Model 107.048 and Model 126

Model 107.048:

1. Test the speed sensor using the signal generator/frequency counter. As vehicle speed increases, the frequency must increase in direct proportion.





2. Test the speedometer using the signal generator in sine wave mode. Table 1 correlates specific speed indications to signal generator frequencies, listed by vehicle model.

3. Check each of the three frequencies specified in the table.

Note:
Perform this test as quickly as possible, since miles are being added to the odometer.

Model 126:
