RETURNED BLOWER MOTORS

A number of new replacement blower motors (part no. 000 830 82 08) have been returned as defective because they exhibit uneven rotation. Testing has shown that such units, while having measurable axial run-out on the circumference, will run quietly and without vibration.

Interference between the fan and the heater box has not been found.

Warranty claims for returned blowers which operate properly when tested, may be denied, resulting in return of the part and subsequent debit to the dealer.
