E. Evacuating, Charging and Function Test of A/C System

1. Charge the A/C system with R12 as specified in the chart, Refrigerant Capacities. Run engine at idle and engage compressor at pushbutton panel.





2. Test function of auxiliary fan (M4, Figure 8) via the 16 bar pressure switch by bridging pins on switch. on engines 102 and 602 check for proper rotation of the auxiliary fan and proper function of the electromagnetic clutch.
