Fresh Air/Recirculation Flap

Fresh/Recirculated Air Flap Vacuum Element R&R:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the instrument panel.
3. Pull off the vacuum lines (2, 3) at both vacuum elements.
4. Open the clips (4) and disconnect the actuating rods.
5. Depress the locks (arrows) and turn the vacuum elements (42) to the left.
6. Reinstall in reverse order. Be sure to install the dark red vacuum lines (2) at the side and the medium green/light blue vacuum lines (3) at the back of each vacuum element.
