Radiator - Coolant Overflow Fitting Removal Procedure

SUBJECT
MODELS 126 WITH ENGINE 103 AND 124 WITH ENGINES 103, 104 AND 119 REPLACEMENT OF COOLANT OVERFLOW FITTING
The engine coolant overflow hose fitting can be replaced when damaged or leaking.
Procedure
1. Drain engine coolant.
2. Remove upper radiator hose and coolant overflow hose.
3. Place a 9 mm box wrench squarely over the socket and press off using a screwdriver (arrow, Figure 1).
4. Install new overflow fitting.
5. Reattach radiator hose and coolant overflow hose.
6. Replenish engine coolant.
7. Run engine and check for coolant leaks.
