As of August 1990 production, a modified ASR charging pump (M15) is installed. It can also be installed in earlier production vehicles (Service Microfiche Job No. 42-863*) in case of leaks at the connection BA (Figure 1).

Following an installation of the new version pump, only bleed it at the vent screw SP (see Service Microfiche Job No. 42-860*.

Note: For a limited period of time, the modified pump will be marked on the connector (arrow) with a white dot (Figure 1). The part number was not changed.
