SUBJECT: ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM TEST SHEET FOR ALL MODELS


Attached is a copy of the new test sheet for the anti-lock brake system (ABS) MBNA/MBC 2405. This test sheet MUST be completed for every ABS test perfomed, and retained in the Dealer's vehicle service file.

When entering a claim for the replacement of an ABS part on the MB-Net system, it is necessary to enter the number of the test step failed into the "Test Sheet Fail Code" field. Failure to do so may affect warranty reimbursement.

It should be noted that this test sheet is intended for use in conjunction with ABS test adapter 126 589 09 21 00 and the Service Microfiche for groups 42, 43.

Test sheets in pads of 50 may be obtained fran the Service & Parts Literature Department in the usual manner at a cost of $2.50 per pad.
