SUBJECT: ALL MODELS WITH SLIDING/POP-UP ROOF MODIFIED CONTROL CABLE FOR SLIDING/POP-UP ROOF


As of April 1990 production, a modified control cable for the sliding/pop-up roof is installed in those vehicles so equipped. There is less friction with the modified cable.

The modified control cable can be installed in earlier production vehicles.





Note:
If a modified control cable is installed, the torque of the slip clutch must be set to 4-5 N-m (job no. 77- 195).
