A. Control cable can be removed

Removal, Installation


1 Remove sun roof headlining.






2 Unscrew guide plate on sliding carrier and disengage.

3 Let control cable run out of sun roof motor gear unit in forward direction.

4 Remove cover in trunk, left.






5 Pull off electric connection on sun roof motor and unscrew fastening screws.






6 Separate tube as well as outlet tube from gear unit.


7 Remove holder with motor arid gear unit.






8 Install in reverse order.


NOTE: When fastening clips of both tubes make sure that bead on tube slips into groove on gear unit.
