Antenna Mast: Service and Repair

Removing and installing telescope of automatic antenna





Removal
Unscrew securing nut (1).
Switch radio on (2nd person required).
Withdraw the extending telescope (2) with the plastic cable (3).

Installing
Insert plastic cable (3) with the teeth in opposite direction of travel (in direction of travel for Station Wagon).
Switch radio off (2nd person required).
Allow plastic cable (3) and telescope (2) to retract fully.
Screw on securing nut (1).
