M-B METAL DUST REMOVER
ALL PASSENGER CARS
Metal dust (e.g. rust particles) can be removed from paintwork chemically using M-B Metal Dust Recover. All painted surfaces, including painted plastic components, can be cleaned with M-B Metal Dust Remover.
The following precautions must be observed:
1. Do not apply to vehicle if temperature is above 77°F (25°C). Do not expose the vehicle to direct sunlight during the cleaning process.
2. Do not use M-B Metal Dust Recover for regular washing of vehicle or to remove other types of soiling.
Procedure: Metal Dust Removal
Caution!
M-B Metal Dust Remover contains oxalic and phosphoric acid. Observe all safety rules and regulations relating to HAZARDOUS MATERIALS. Wear acid-proof impermeable safety clothing (apron and gloves) and goggles.
1. Wash vehicle.
2. Apply undiluted M-B Metal Dust Recover with a towel or soft bristled brush, exerting a slight pressure. Let the liquid react with the surface for a maximum of ten (10) minutes. Do not allow the liquid to dry.
3. If surface does not come clean after the first attempt, repeat cleaning process. Do not lengthen the reaction time as this may damage the surface of the paintwork or plastic components.
4. Rinse the vehicle with generous amounts of water, wash with M-B Autoshampoo and dry.
5. Polish treated areas with M-B Paint Polish and a polishing cloth.
Note:
Depending upon the condition of the paint surface, first use a buffing machine and M-B Fine Polishing Paste.
6. Apply M-B Paint Protector and Sealer to protect the paintwork against environmental influences.
