Preliminary Conditions

1. Connect engine analyzer, warm engine to a temperature greater than 60°C.
2. Check battery for a minimum battery voltage of 11.5 volts.
3. Place shift lever in park (manual transmission in neutral).
4. Turn off air conditioning.
5. Ensure accelerator bowden cable is tension free.
