ELECTRICAL CONNECTION KIT





As an aide for making measurements in the vehicle electrical system, electrical connection kit (tool no. 201 589 00 99 00) is now available. It includes connecting leads for various types of connectors (both flat and cylindrical) used in Mercedes-Benz cars. Also included are jumper wires and universal leads, as well as various clips and test probes. Some of the uses and individual parts of the set are shown in the figures.








Whenever working on the vehicle electrical system, the appropriate individual parts of the kit should be used. This not only helps prevent measuring errors, but also guards against system failures due to the spreading apart of connectors as a result of using test probes which are too large. The universal test leads included in the kit will connect to the approved Sun Electric DMM5 multimeter as well as to most multimeters that have banana jacks.
