Test B (Vacuum Circuit 1, Valve Unit Y7)

TEST B:
TESTING VACUUM CIRCUIT 1, VALVE UNIT (Y7) FOR LEAKS:

Preparation for Test:

Check Valve (36):

1. Disconnect dark red/green vacuum line at check valve (36) and connect tester to vacuum line.
2. Switch on ignition.

NOTE: The tester remains connected to the dark red/green vacuum line for the entire duration of the test.

Test Procedure:



1. Press the "DEFROST" key on the control panel.
2. Evacuate with tester (approx. 400 mbar) and read off pressure gauge.
3. If reading on pressure gauge changes, test switchover valve unit (Y7) and dark red/green vacuum line and replace if necessary.
