Testing Heating Capacity

1. Insert a test probe (arrow) into each of the left-hand and right-hand defroster outlets.
2. Switch on function selection "Def" on the pushbutton switch.
3. Run engine at approx. 2000 rpm for 5 minutes at operating temperature.
Nominal value: >55 °C.

Note: If the temperature is not attained, check function of recirculating pump, If in order, try replacing monovalve and flush out cooling system if necessary. If this provides no remedy, replace heat exchanger.
