Preparations For Test:






Note: Before starting the test, the ventilation blower for the in-car temperature sensor must be tested. To do this, switch on the ignition and the B key (total ventilation) as well as the "AUTO" blower switch, and place a scrap of paper, approx. 1 cm2 (arrow), against the grille of the in-car temperature sensor. The paper should remain stuck to the grille. If not, remove the glovebox and test the ventilation blower (connections and function).

1. Remove control unit.






2. Connect contact box to cable harness for control unit. Control unit remains unconnected until test step 7.
