Transmission Only Shifts After 50km/H From 2ND to 3RD Gear

After a cold or hot start transmission only shifts after approx. 50 km/h or after a max. of 80s from 2nd Into 3rd gear.

Cause/remedy:

1. No remedy
Transmission upshift delay for faster warming up of catalytic converter. Since 02/90, a CFI control module has been installed on which the transmission upshift delay is only effective between an engine coolant temperature of 0° C and 32° C.
