Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair

Stop Lamp Switch:

Removal
1. Push in the detent.
2. Rotate the switch and pull out.

Installation
1. Pull out actuating pin up to stop to obtain maximum travel.
2. Depress brake pedal.
3. Insert switch and turn until detent engages. Release pedal.
NOTE: The actuating distance is set automatically.
