Removing/Installing Actuator (S47, S48, S49)

Removal and installation of actuator (S47, S48, S49)





- Remove door lining (not with actuator, trunk lid lock). Service and Repair
- Push back sliding sleeve (1).
- Push out control rod (2).
- Loosen screws (3).
- Disconnect actuator (S47, S48, S49).
- Push away tension unloading lever (5).
- Pull off electrical cable and pneumatic pipe.
- Bring control and working element (S47, S48, S49) in installation position. Push sliding sleeve (1) fully back and pull control rod attachment (4) out until it engages. On the actuator for the trunk lid lock (S49), push control rod (2) fully away from the element.
- Install element in reverse order.
