Front Door Panel: Service and Repair

Removal






1. Remove enclosure on door lock.
2. Remove window crank.






3. Push off cover






4. Loosen screw inside on hand grip.






5. Slide housing of inside door actuation in forward direction while releasing from inside door panel and linkage on inside door handle.
6. Pull door lining in upward direction out of holders and remove.

Installation






7. Engage door lining first with hook on door handle, inside (extended large hook). Then toward the top into sealing rail and enter with hook laterally and below at inside door panelling. For this purpose lift door lining only to the extent that the large hook in range of door handle will not be disengaged.
8. For further installation proceed vice versa,

Note: If sealing sheet on inside door panel is damaged, renew prior to installing door lining. The screw at top of handle is micro-encapsulated and should either be replaced or screwed in with a screw locking compound.
