Wear cotton gloves. Ensure that no fingerprints are present in the area of the bonding surface. To prevent adhesion problems when installing the window, keep the bonding surface free of dust oil, grease, wax, dirt residues and other adhesive substances.

1. Check windshield (1) for scratches and damages.
2. Install cup suction tool on outside of windshield and place windshield (with inside facing upwards) on a suitable support.

3. Cut adhesive material residue on windshield (1) up to approx. 2 mm using scraper.
Only when using previously installed windshield (1).

4. Pull off loose adhesive material (remaining pieces which are not completely cut off).
Only when using previously installed windshield (1).

5. Clean windshield (1) with cleaning cloth from 2-component repair kit or 1-component repair kit and rub dry with rag.
Only when using new windshield (1).

6. Apply activator from 2-component repair kit or 1-component repair kit to windshield (1) and rub dry with rag.
Only when using new windshield (1). Apply glass activator only to black bonding surface. If glass activator gets onto transparent areas wipe off immediately. Allow glass activator to dry completely.

7. Repair damaged primer layer on windshield (1) with primer from 2-component repair kit or 1-component repair kit.
Only when using previously installed windshield (1).

8. Apply primer from 1-component repair kit or 2-component repair kit to windshield (1) (maximum width 20 mm).

Replacement windshields are generally delivered with a viewing window on the bottom left. If the viewing window is not required, always coat this area on the inside with Betaprime from the 2-component repair kit or 1-component repair kit before installing windshield.
Allow primer to air-dry for min. 10 minutes.
