AR35.20-P-0130-03RT Remove/install double-row angular ball bearing in wheel carrier

Special Tools:

Pull out wheel bearing

Component Identification:

1 Mount parts of the extraction and insertion tool on the wheel carrier (5).
2 Pull wheel bearing (9n) out of the wheel carrier (5) by turning at the bolt with collar nut (08a) and remove.

Press in wheel bearing

Component Identification:

3 Position wheel bearing (9n), wheel carrier (5) and drift (01) on the workshop press.

Observe correct installation position. The points or the line (arrow) on the wheel bearing (9n) must point towards the wheel carrier (5).

Use a suitable, horizontal base for supporting during the pressing operation.

4 Press in wheel bearing (9n) up to the contact surface in the wheel carrier (5) by operating the workshop press.

The correct seat of the wheel bearing (9n) is achieved when the pressure on the workshop press display rises continuously.
