Pull out rear axle shaft flange

Component Identification:

1 Mount parts of the extractor tool on the rear axle shaft flange (9) and wheel carrier (1).
2 Pull rear axle shaft flange (9) out of wheel carrier (1) by turning at the pressure bolt (011) and remove.

Press in rear axle shaft flange

Component Identification:

3 Position the rear axle shaft flange (9), wheel carrier (1) and press-out and press-in tool (01) on the workshop press.

Use a suitable, horizontal base for supporting during the pressing operation.

4 Press the rear axle shaft flange (9) into the wheel carrier (1) by operating the workshop press.

The correct seat of the rear axle shaft flange (9) is achieved when the pressure on the workshop press display rises continuously.
