Removal and Replacement

Disconnect line connections

1 Clean line connections and surrounding area.
2 Mark line connections on line and component.
If more than one screwed-on line is detached.
3.1 Screwed-on line connections: Remove bolt (1) and disconnect line.
Collect the escaping hydraulic fluid and seal the line connections immediately using stop plugs.
3.2 Disconnect plugged-in line connections using detaching tool.
Collect the escaping hydraulic fluid and seal the line connections immediately using stop plugs.
3.3 Hose connections: Detach clamp and disconnect hose.
Collect the escaping hydraulic fluid and seal the line connections immediately using stop plugs.





Connect line connections

4 Remove stop plugs from line connections.
5.1 Screwed-on and plugged-in line connections: Check that the O-ring is in good condition, undamaged and seated correctly; replace if necessary and apply hydraulic fluid.
5.2 Hose connections: Check that the hose and clamp are in good condition and undamaged; replace if necessary.
6.1 Screwed-on line connections: Insert line connection and tighten bolt (1) securely.
6.2 Plugged-in line connections: Join line connections together so that they engage.
6.3 Hose connections: Attach hose and fit clamp.
