Air Suspension - FC U042700 Stored In Control Unit

FC U042700 displayed in quick test and cannot be erased in AIRMATIC control unit.

Reason for change

Complaint:
FC U042700 (Implausible data received from electronic ignition lock) is stored during the quick test and cannot be erased.

The stored FC has no effect on the functioning of the AIRMATIC.

No message is displayed.

Cause:
Internal software error in AIRMATIC control unit.

Remedy:
Perform Xentry update:

For Xentry Diagnostics DVD 5/2012 use add-on 2306.

For Xentry Diagnostics DVD 3/2012 use add-on 2285.

Then use control unit programming to flash the software A166 902 5602 into the AIRMATIC control unit.
