Complaint:
Spotting in the area of the rain/light sensor in the windshield, see picture.
Attachments
Cause:
Faulty bonding of the two glass layers of the windshield.
This can result in the following malfunctions of the rain sensor:
1. Rain sensor does not initiate wiping.
2. Rain sensor reactions not sensitive enough.
Remedy:
Replace windshield.
