Complaint
Coolant too low fault message in instrument cluster.
Cause
^ Coolant loss on firewall through incorrectly installed Y-shaped adapter.
^ Coolant hose not mounted because wrong Y-shaped adapter installed.
Remedy
^ Check whether all hoses on the Y-shaped adapter were correctly mounted.
^ If a hose was incorrectly mounted, mount hose properly.
^ Depending on the vehicle's special equipment there are different Y-shaped adapters available (e.g. heated windshield water tank).
