Reason for change

Complaint:
Noises when retracting the twin roller blinds.

Cause:
The hard end stops on the twin roller blinds or load compartment cover incl. safety net (code 541) can cause annoying noises.

Production changed to soft felt stops as of chassis number *A076753

Remedy:
Aftermarket application of felt to end stops:

1. Verify the part number A 166 810 00 09.

2. Clean and roughen the bonding surface (surface of old stop).

3. Glue pieces of felt on both sides.
