GF77.20-D-2049H Rear Sliding Roof Unit Denormalization, Function
GF77.20-D-2049H Rear Sliding Roof Unit Denormalization, Function
- with CODE (D24) Power tilting/sliding roof, passenger compartment
Denormalized state
The position of the rear tilting/sliding roof (M12/1) is not known. It is possible to move in two directions, however, only via the "Manually close rear tilting/sliding roof" or "Manually open rear tilting/sliding roof" which are actuated using the tilting/sliding roof control button (N70s1). To protect the mechanical end stop, for instance in the "Open sliding roof" position, the rear tilting/sliding roof motor is actuated only for t = 0.25 s in the "Open sliding roof" direction when the sliding roof control button is pulled toward the front up to the pressure point. Then the rear tilting/sliding roof motor is no longer actuated.
Only when the tilting/sliding roof control button is actuated again in the "Open sliding roof" direction by pulling the tilting/sliding roof control button toward the rear up to the pressure point, the rear tilting/sliding roof motor is actuated again for t = 0.25 s.
Denormalization
The rear tilting/sliding roof motor is denormalized and deactivated in the following cases:
- When the battery is disconnected/connected (G1).
- The rear tilting/sliding roof exceeds the defined motion range of 25 motor rotations.
- The position signal from rear tilting/sliding roof Hall sensor (M12/1b1) or rear tilting/sliding roof Hall sensor (M12/1b2) is missing for t > 160 ms in spite of reversal of the rear tilting/ sliding roof.
- The direction of rotation signal does not coincide with the defined direction of operation of the rear tilting/sliding roof.
- The tilting/sliding roof control button is actuated for longer than t = 25 s.
Denormalization is not performed in the following cases:
- If the Hall sensor supply is short-circuited as long as the reset for the OCP control unit (N70) is not present. Actuation of the rear tilting/sliding roof motor is deactivated.
- If voltage is too low or too high as long as the DBE control unit is not reset.Actuation of the rear tilting/sliding roof motor is deactivated.
- If circuit 15X is actuated.
