GF72.29-D-4014H Electric Load Compartment Sliding Door (E-LST) Control Unit, Component Description
- with CODE (T55) Electrical actuation for right sliding door
- with CODE (T56) Electrical actuation for left sliding door
- with CODE (T50) Electrical closing assist for right sliding door
- with CODE (T51) Electrical closing assist for left sliding door
N69/6 Right sliding door control unit
N69/7 Left sliding door control unit
Location
The right sliding door control unit is located in the right electric load compartment sliding door (E-LST).
The left sliding door control unit is located in the left E-LST.
Task
The right sliding door control unit actuates the right E-LST via the right sliding door drive (M73/1) and and the left sliding door control unit actuates the left E-LST via the left sliding door drive (M73/2).
The right and left sliding door control units monitor the position of the corresponding E-LST. For this purpose, they store the most important positions internally. Moreover, the right electric sliding door and left electric sliding door control units are responsible for the following functions:
- Anti-pinch protection
- Blockage detection
- Reversing
- Excess force limiter
- Central locking (CL [ZV])
- Closing assist (CA)
Right sliding door control unit
The right sliding door control unit reads in the following switches and buttons:
- Right sliding door shaft coupling switch (S192/1)
- Right sliding door ZV door handle switch (M14/27s5)
- Right sliding door button (S159/1)
- Right sliding door ZV child safety lock switch (M14/27s4)
- Right load compartment sliding door sliding window switch (S21/23), on vehicles with code (W19) Right front sliding window in sliding door
- Right sliding door CL rotary tumbler switch (M14/27s1)
- Right sliding door CL additional lock motor (M14/31m1)
The status of the right sliding door button (N72/1s11) is read in via the Control Area Network bus, class B (interior compartment) (CAN-B) by the OBF control unit (N72/1).
In addition, he right sliding door control unit communicates with the following control units via CAN-B:
- OBF control unit
- The OBF control unit transmits, e.g. "ACT_RSD (Right sliding door actuation)"
- The OBF control unit receives, e.g. "RSD_LED (Actuation of LED for right sliding door button)"
- With the instrument cluster (A1)
- The instrument cluster receives, e.g. "right electric sliding door_SUM (Switch on buzzer)
- The instrument cluster transmits, e.g."V_SIGNAL (Vehicle speed)"
- With the SAM control unit (N10)
- The rear SAM control unit transmits, e.g. "TUEREN_BUSY (Right sliding door CL actuator (M14/27) energized)"
- The SAM control unit receives, e.g. "RSD_ST (Right sliding door status)"
- Keyless Entry control unit (N69/5)
- The Keyless Entry control unit receives, e.g."right electric sliding door_AUF_ST (Right sliding door open)"
Left sliding door control unit
The left sliding door control unit reads in the following switches and buttons:
- Left sliding door shaft coupling switch (S192/2)
- Left sliding door ZV door handle switch (M14/28s5)
- Left sliding door button (S159/2)
- Left sliding door ZV child safety lock switch (M14/28s4)
- Left load compartment sliding door sliding window switch (S21/24), on vehicles with code (W18) Left front sliding window in side wall or sliding door
- Left sliding door CL rotary tumbler switch (M14/28s1)
- Left sliding door CL additional lock motor (M14/32m1)
The status of the left sliding door button (N72/1s1) is read in via CAN-B by the OBF control unit.
In addition, the left sliding door control unit communicates with the following control units via CAN-B:
- OBF control unit
- The OBF control unit transmits, e.g. "ACT_LSD (Left sliding door actuation)"
- The OBF control unit receives, e.g. "LSD_LED (Actuation of LED for left sliding door button)"
- Instrument cluster
- The instrument cluster receives, e.g."left electric sliding door_SUM (switch on buzzer)
- The instrument cluster transmits, e.g."V_SIGNAL (Vehicle speed)"
- SAM control unit
- The rear SAM control unit transmits, e.g."TUEREN_BUSY (Left sliding door CL actuator (M14/28) energized)"
- The SAM control unit receives, e.g. "LSD_ST (Left sliding door status)"
- Keyless Entry control unit
- The Keyless Entry control unit receives, e.g."left electric sliding door_AUF_ST (Left sliding door open)"
