- with CODE (EZ8) Parktronic system (PTS)

The PTS control unit (N62) immediately carries out a self-test with "terminal 15R ON".
For one second all light emitting diodes (LED) in the front Parktronic warning indicator at the left and right front and in the center front PTS warning element (A44/9) are activated.

If there is no system error pending and no obstacles positioned in front of the vehicle, then the Parktronic system (PTS) operational readiness is displayed by the respective outermost yellow LEDs at reduced luminosity.
As a result a correct function of the system is confirmed visually. If the system is operating perfectly, it reverts to measuring mode.
