1 Switch on ignition.
Waiting time approx. 5 s.

2 Switch off ignition.
Waiting time approx. 5 s.
Windshield is measured in rain/light sensor (B38/2) and measurements are stored.

3 Turn on ignition.

Illustrated on model 639

4 Move combination switch to intermittent operation "I".
5 Wet windshield with a little water in vicinity of rain/light sensor (B38/2).
Windshield wiper must switch itself on.

6 Move rotary light switch (S1) to "AUTO".
7 Cover rain/light sensor (B38/2).
Vehicle lighting must switch itself on.
