GF72.29-D-3004H Power windows comfort opening, function

- with CODE (FZ8) Convenience opening/closing with IR remote control

Function requirements:
- Valid identification code received via infrared (IR)
- Circuit 15 OFF and circuit 15R OFF
- No overvoltage or undervoltage
- All doors closed (central locking unlocked)
The "comfort closing" function is performed by the IR remote control or the air recirculation mode button (S98s6) for the air conditioning system.

Termination of "Convenience opening" function:
- The request is no longer received via the controller area network bus, class B (interior compartment) (CAN-B).
- The function requirements are no longer fulfilled.
- No valid IR pulse received
- Lockup recognized

Function

Press and hold "Unlock" transmitter button on remote control key (A8/1) and point transmitter key toward IR receiver unit (A26/1) in driver door. The actuation request is transmitted to the driver door control unit (N69/1) by the driver door IR receiver. Transmission to the driver door control unit is accomplished via CAN-B.

The driver door power window motor (M10/1) is actuated by the driver door control unit and the front passenger door power window motor (M10/2) by the SAM control unit (N10).

On vehicles with code (W32) Rear power vent windows in passenger compartment, the vent windows are opened with the aid of the "Convenience opening" function.
