1 Use feeler gauge to check axial play (B) between circlip (1) and grooved ball bearing (2).
2 Remove circlip (1) and measure; then install a new circlip (1) with appropriate thickness.

Transmission 711.680: Circlips (1) are available with a thickness from 1.70 up to 2.15 mm and a graduation of 0.05 mm.

Transmission 711.685: circlips (1) are available with a thickness from 1.80 up to 2.00 mm and a graduation of 0.05 mm.
