1 Remove bearing cap (5).

Always secure the bearing cap (5) first and then the screws (15); otherwise the roller bearings could be damaged.

2 Unscrew bolts (15).





3 Check sleeves (19, 20) of support fixture (11), change if necessary.

Different sleeves (19, 20) need to be used depending on the transmission model. The relevant transmission drawings are specified on the sleeves (19, 20).

4 Clamp support fixture (11) in vise.
5 Slide support slides (17, 18) inwards as far as the end stop and lock fastening device (21).





6 Insert gear set with rear section of transmission housing (3) in support fixture (11).

If the gear set with rear section of transmission housing (3) is turned, the fitting sleeves (16) could fall out of the intermediate plate (4).
