Tire inflation pressures change by approximately 0.1 bar for every 10 °C variation in tire temperature. This is to be observed when checking the tire inflation pressure in workshop areas, especially in winter, when after a prolonged workshop visit the tire air temperature has reached room temperature.

Example

Room air temperature = 20 °C

Ambient air temperature = 0 °C

Tire inflation pressure to be set = prescribed tire inflation pressure + 0.2 bar
