AH32.25-N-0001-01A Notes on Shock Absorber Testing

In the event of shock absorber problems, such as:
^ Oil loss,
^ Noises,
^ Worn joint parts,
^ Paint abrasion on reservoir tube,

all the parts relevant to the suspension (axle suspension, spring, thrust stop rubbers, stabilizer rubbers, joint bushes, support bearings, steering) are to be checked before removing the shock absorber.

If the shock absorbers have to be replaced the shock absorbers should always be replaced in pairs at mileages above 150.000 km.
