^ With the system in its unpressurized state, the vehicle body lowers considerably. To prevent damage to the vehicle, the body must be supported by the vehicle lift. In the case of work performed with the vehicle on the drive-on lifting platform or over the pit, the body must be supported using, for example, a lift.
^ Components of the air suspension system which are pressurized with compressed air must be emptied before removal.
Model 906 with code (PL9) Air suspension VB-Airsuspension co. Completely empty air spring system first with the remote control and then by carefully opening an air line.
Model 906 with code (CE2) Rear air suspension
First completely empty air spring system via STAR DIAGNOSIS and then by carefully opening an air line.
^ Use only flare nut wrenches to unscrew the compressed air lines.
^ Clean dirty compressed air line connections before unscrewing them. Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents as they can damage the compressed air lines.
Seal the compressed air lines and the connections on the components immediately.
