1 Install the support plates (3, 5) on the engine lifting device (1).
2 Unscrew bolt (10), turn oil filler neck (8) to the left and remove upwards.
3 Unclip cover (9) upwards.
4 Disassemble bracket (11) on cylinder head.
5 Loosen wing nut (2), insert engine lifting device (1) with the support plates (3, 5) on the longitudinal members (6, 7) and tighten wing nut (2).

Pay attention to the correct seat of the support plates (3, 5) on the longitudinal members (6, 7) otherwise the engine and the complete lifting device can slip off the longitudinal members (6, 7).

The support plate (5) must be inserted on the inside of the left longitudinal member (7) and the support plate (3) must be inserted on the outside of the right longitudinal member (6).

6 Install bracket (13) using bolts (14, 15) onto the cylinder head.
7 Install strut (4) on the engine lifting device (1).
8 Attach bracket (13) and lifting eye (17) to the strut (4) with shackles (12, 16).
9 Raise the engine by twisting the spindle (arrow) on the engine lifting device (1).

The shackles (12, 16) must not be twisted otherwise it can lead to damage to the engine, detachable engine parts or the entire lifting gear.

If the engine lifts up unevenly, the suspension point of the spindle (arrow) on the strut (4) must be changed.
