Maintenance Service / B-Service

For additional mileage and/or time related maintenance services refer to Supplemental Service Items Supplemental Service Items

To perform a 'Maintenance Service / B-Service' you must first complete an 'Oil Service Plus / A-Service', then add these items

Lubrication work
- Lubricate trailer tow hitch

Check function and condition
- Indicators, indicator lamps
- Headlamps, exterior lighting
- Windshield wipers, rear windshield wiper, windshield washer system, headlamp cleaning system

Check for leaks and general condition
Line routing and chafing
If there is a fluid loss, determine cause and remedy it
- All assemblies: engine, transmission, axles, steering, power steering pump, brakes
- All lines, hoses and sensor cables
- All reservoirs, shock absorbers, front axle joints, covers, sleeves, protective caps
- Auxiliary rubber springs
- Steering mechanism: tie rod, steering lever, rubber sleeves and protective caps

Check fluid level and correct
If there is a fluid loss, determine cause and remedy it (separate invoice).
- Engine cooling system: anti-corrosion/antifreeze protection
- Hydraulic brake system
- Power steering
- Auxiliary battery in the engine compartment
- Windshield washer system

Engine
- Replace the fuel filter with water separator

Chassis and body
- Replace the dust filter for the rear compartment air-conditioning system
- Replace the dust filter for the heating/ventilation or the activated charcoal/combination filter for the air conditioning (observe the installation date)
- Trailer tow hitch: check function, play and attachment

Road wheels, brakes
- Check and correct tire pressure, including spare wheel and enter in bar or psi:
- Tire sealant: check expiration date, renew (to be invoiced separately)
