A52 LWR front axle sensor

Location
The LWR front axle sensor is located in the top section of the left transverse control arm of the front axle.

Task
The LWR front axle sensor informs the LWR control unit (N71) of the changes in the vehicle level, regardless of whether they are due to the load or the rolling motion during acceleration or deceleration.

Function
The LWR front axle sensor is supplied with voltage ("Circuit 15 ON" and circuit 31) by the LWR control unit. The LWR front axle sensor determines the changes in the vehicle level and sends a corresponding signal to the LWR control unit via a direct line.
