GF82.10-D-3011H Backup Lamp Actuation, Function

GF82.10-D-3011H Backup Lamp Actuation, Function

with transmission 722.6
Function requirements:
- "Tml. 15 ON"
- Selector lever position "R"

The electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5) sends the "reverse gear ON" signal to the EZS control unit (N73) over the engine compartment-CAN (CAN C). The EZS control unit converts the signal and sends the "backup lamp ON" signal to the SAM control unit (N10) over the interior CAN (CAN B). The SAM control unit then actuates the backup lamp (E3/6e3) in the left taillamp (E3/6) and the backup lamp (E4/6e3) in the right taillamp (E4/6).

with transmission 711.6
Function requirements:
- "Tml. 15 ON"
- Reverse gear is engaged

The signal "Backup lamp ON" of the backup lamp switch (S16/2) is read in by the SAM control unit. The SAM control unit actuates the backup lamp in the left taillamp and the backup lamp in the right taillamp.

In vehicles with code (JW0) Backup warning system, with "terminal 61 ON" and selector lever position "R" or reverse gear engaged, an acoustic signal is additionally issued by the backup warning horn (H3/4).

At the same time, in vehicles with code (E43) Trailer hitch socket or with code (E40) Trailer socket 7-pin, the signals for actuating the above-listed lamps on the trailer are forwarded over the interior CAN to the trailer connection unit [AAG] control unit (N28/1).
