Location
The headlamp range adjustment motor (E1/6m1) is located in the left XENON lamp unit.
The headlamp range adjustment motor (E2/6m1) is located in the right XENON lamp unit.

Task
The headlamp range adjustment motors adjust the incline angle of the left XENON lamp unit reflector as well as the incline angle of the right XENON lamp unit reflector as a function of changes in the vehicle level, which are detected by the LWR rear axle sensor (A51) and the LWR front axle sensor (A52). The headlamp range adjustment motors are actuated via the LWR control unit (N71).
