Function-relevant messages in the display (A1p1) of the instrument cluster (A1) inform the driver of the system status.

System messages describe a regular operating condition. In the event of a complaint there is no need to exchange system components.

Function-relevant messages "CAL TPMS" are shown on the display in the following cases:
^ With system reactivation.
^ During the teach-in process following activation, provided that no definite assignment has been detected by the tire pressure monitoring (TPM) system.

The display "NO TPMS" is activated if the following criteria exist:
^ At least one new wheel sensor has been fitted and is currently undergoing teach-in
^ External jamming transmitter prevents data transfer
^ A corresponding fault code is stored in the TPM [RDK] control unit (N88/1).
^ Controller Area Network (CAN) canceled
