GF54.50-D-2010H Reset, Function
- with CODE (CL4) Multifunction steering wheel with trip computer
Since start
The contents of the trip computer (TRIP) screen "Since start" (short-distance memory) can be reset manually by pressing the reset button (A1s2) in the instrument cluster (A1). The TRIP menu is displayed as from position 2 (circuit 15 ON) of the transmitter key.
Manual resetting of the display "Since start" is done in the following sequence:
- The trip computer is activated using the system selection button (S111s3) of the multifunction steering wheel (MFL). Pressing the scroll forward/back button (S111s1) on the MFL displays "Since start" on the multifunction display in the instrument cluster.
- The reset button in the instrument cluster must be pressed for t > 3 s.
- The "Since start" display is reset.
If the transmitter key is at position 0 (circuit 15C) or the transmitter key has been removed, all values in the short-distance memory are reset after 4 hours. If during this period the transmitter key is turned to position 1 (circuit 15R ON) or position 2 (circuit 15 ON), the reset time window (4 hours) is restarted.
Once the short-distance memory has been reset there is not sufficient data available to calculate the fuel consumption correctly. To overcome this, a value calculated on the basis of the vehicle-specific consumption is displayed in the instrument cluster during this time. The display limit lies at 40 l/100 km.
