Location
The outside air temperature sensor is located in the center of the front bumper.

Task
The outside air temperature sensor records the current outside temperature and passes it on to the SAM control unit (N10) which places the current outside temperature as a message on the Controller Area Network bus class B (interior) (CAN B).
