Menu selection via the multifunction steering wheel (MFL) with the system selection button (S111s3)
Shown is the submenu selection via the MFL with the scroll forward/back button (S111s1) in the "Settings (configuration)" menu except code (EN8) Sound 50 APS radio or except code (EN4) COMAND with TMC interface
On vehicles with code (EN8) Sound 50 APS radio or with code (EN4) COMAND with TMC interface, the "Time/date" submenu is not listed.
Submenu item "Settings, +, instrument cluster, time/date, illumination, vehicle, heater, comfort, -"
When you scroll through the submenu selection, the 4 submenus will change. When you scroll down, the upper submenu (e.g. "Instrument cluster") will disappear; when you scroll up, the lower submenu (e.g. "Comfort") will disappear. The text "Settings" as well as the "+" and the "-" signs remain visible.
Selection of the heater submenu
Function requirement: "circuit 15R ON".
After selecting the "Settings (configuration)" menu with the system selection button, you can use the scroll forward/back button to select the submenu item "Settings, +, instrument cluster, time/date, illumination, vehicle, heater, comfort, -".
Next, you can use the + and - button (S110s1) to select the submenu item "Heater".
In the submenu item "Heater", the user can select among the following submenus using the scroll forward/back button:
- "Stationary heater timer"
- "Stationary heater time setting, hours"
- "Stationary heater time setting, minutes"
The scroll direction depends upon which subfield of the system selection button, of the scroll forward/back button, or of the + and - button is pressed.
Stationary heater timer"
The user can carry out the following settings in the "Stationary heater timer" submenu using the + and - button:
- "Set and activate switch-on time 1"
- "Set and activate switch-on time 2"
- "Set and activate switch-on time 3"
- "Timer off"
After exiting the "Stationary heater timer" submenu, the selected settings are saved using the system selection button.
The activation of the particular "Switch-on time" is indicated by the yellow light emitting diode (LED) in the warm water stationary heater switch (S46/11) going on. The scroll forward/back button is used to select the submenu item "Stationary heater time setting, hours", and when the scroll forward/back button is pressed again, the submenu item "Stationary heater time setting, minutes" is selected.

In the "Stationary heater time setting, hours" submenu, the user can adjust the hours of the particular selected switch-on time with the + and - button.
The direction in which the hours are counted depends upon which subfield of the + and - button is pressed.
"Stationary heater time setting, minutes"
In the "Stationary heater time setting, minutes" submenu, the user can adjust the minutes of the particular selected switch-on time with the + and - button.
