The heater enables a pleasant interior climate for the vehicle passengers in the event of different weather conditions.
The front temperature selector switch integrated into the AAC [KLA] control and operating unit can be used to set the desired temperature in the vehicle interior. Turning the front temperature selector switch to the left lowers the temperature in the vehicle interior. Turning the front temperature selector switch to the right increases the temperature in the vehicle interior.
Depending on the desired temperature, the position of the blend air and lock-up flap can be mechanically adjusted via cables. This in turn regulates the air volume of fresh air or recirculated air which is routed over the heated front heat exchanger.

The AAC [KLA] control and operating unit cannot be used to cool the fresh air or the recirculated air.

To speed up the temperature increase or reduction, the blower switch integrated into the AAC [KLA] control and operating unit can be used to regulate the output of the blower motor (M2) in 5 stages and the air distribution can be set using the air distribution switch integrated in the AAC [KLA] control and operating unit.
