M16/8 Blend air flap actuator motor

Location
The blend air flap actuator motor is located on the left side of the front AC housing, which is located centrally behind the instrument panel.

Task
The blend air flap actuator motor moves the blend air and shutoff flap according to the temperature set using the temperature selection switch (S98s14) integrated in the AAC [KLA] control and operating unit (S98). This regulates the fresh or recirculated air that flows through the front heater heat exchanger and the front evaporator.
