M2n1 Blower regulator

Location
The blower regulator is located in the air duct leading from the front blower box to the front heater housing below the glove compartment.

Task
Depending on the blower stage setting, the blower regulator controls the operating speed of the blower motor (M2).

Design
A transistor is integrated into the blower regulator.

Function
Depending on the blower stage set using the blower control button (+) (S98s10) and blower control button (-) (S98s11), which are integrated into the KLA control and operating unit (S98), the blower regulator allows a specific amperage to flow to the blower motor and thus regulates the various operating speeds of the blower motor.
